New Pressure Treated Wood Marietta Deck Installed

New Pressure Treated Wood Marietta Deck Installed

Mrs. K wanted her old and unsafe Marietta deck replaced and enlarged. The Echols Roofing crew removed the old deck, being careful to clean grounds thoroughly of nails, then constructed this one. The customer chose a pressure treated wood rather than a synthetic materials for her Marietta deck. With pressure treated wood, if the customer intends to paint it, it is important to let the wood cure for a year before applying the paint so that the preservatives inside the wood can be released; otherwise, the new wood can warp. The homeowner was delighted and told AC, “I didn’t know it could be done so beautifully and with such considerate men. I am really thrilled!”
